What is it?
It is a natural therapy which determines imbalances in the body using nerve, brain, body connections.
It explores imbalances related to chemical, emotional, electrical and structural areas within our body, mind and spirit.
This is done by switching muscles ON and OFF to check the function of the muscle and organs.
Finding the root cause of imbalance and restoring balance in the body.
How Is It done?
A kinesiologist gathers information through manual muscle response testing.
Identifies imbalances that may be contributing to your loss of health and wellbeing.
Identifies ways to restore balance through gentle physical corrections of the muscles, massage and light touch.

Call Me NowWhat is kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a natural non-invasive therapy which determines imbalances using nerve brain body connections. It is a holistic approach to health and wellbeing and explores areas of imbalances related to biochemical, emotional, electrical and structural areas within our body, mind and spirit. It is based on the concept of Chinese medicine which comprises the 5 elements of nature: Fire, Earth, Water, Wood and Metal. Each organ and muscle is associated with these 5 elements and has an energy pathway that runs through them called a meridian. A kinesiologist will check the client’s ability to hold a muscle against light pressure. If there is an imbalance affecting the energy field the muscle tested will feel weak or spongy. It is how we gather information through testing. Rebalancing methods include gentle physical corrections of the muscles, massage and light touch, recommendations for foods and approved biochemical supplements and remedies, and techniques to relieve emotional and energetic imbalances.
How often should I take a kinesiology session?
In the beginning it is recommended to have a session once a week. Once you start feeling the results it can be reduced to once a month or once every few months depending on how you feel.
How does it help me?
It works towards finding the root cause of imbalances and ways to rebalance, stimulating self-healing and supporting the system to achieve optimum health and wellbeing. People often report reduced stress, have better sleep, improved energy and reduction of pain after experiencing a session
What happens in a kinesiology session?
Before the first session you will be asked to fill out a health questionnaire. We will discuss your specific areas of concerns and causes of stress, at our first session. Assessments are made using gentle manual muscle response testing where we will identify imbalances which may be contributing to your loss of health and well-being, and ways to restore balance. We will ask you to place your arms, legs or head into specific positions and then apply a light pressure against the muscle that is being tested. Based on biofeedback from the muscle test, you and I can identify exactly what is involved and devise a plan. Suggestions and advice may include incorporation of foods, nutritional supplements, relaxation and other techniques, lifestyle changes and more. During the session we will discuss and observe what is happening in the body. You will be fully clothed throughout the session.
Is kinesiology meant to help physical ailments or does it work like therapy?
Kinesiology can not claim to cure or diagnose any medical conditions, however it supports the body to rebalance through different techniques to rebalance the body to work in optimal health. Rebalancing methods include gentle physical corrections of the muscles, massage and light touch, recommendations for foods and approved biochemical supplements and remedies, and techniques to relieve emotional and energetic imbalances that often result in a reduction or disappearance of symptoms.
What makes kinesiology unique?
Dr George Goodheart introduced the “Triangle of Health.’’ Herein, the body is seen as a holistic entity where our physical, structural body interacts with, supports and is affected by emotions, energy and biochemistry. When all sides and the centre are in perfect harmony with each other and themselves we feel fantastic and are in optimal health, wellbeing and balance. These interactions are dynamic, not static, and fluctuate up and down at every moment around an optimum level. They change in relation to changes in our needs as we receive, react and adapt to changes in our internal and external environment. Our body will always do its best to help survive in any circumstances – it may adapt or compensate. If messages become distorted or signals are blocked or stuck in a pattern, even if our body still hears or feels or sees what is going on, it may not understand or may not be able to react to restore balance and harmony. Kinesiology helps identify these distorted patterns and blockages, clear signalling pathways and circuits, supporting the flow of information to restore balance and harmony. It helps optimise communication, understanding, action and interaction between all areas of and within the triangle.
Who can benefit from kinesiology?
Kinesiology is a non-invasive therapy so it works on everyone: new-borns to the elderly.
Can you explain the science behind kinesiology?
Kinesiology is based on the concept of Chinese medicine. In Chinese and traditional Chinese medicine we are composed of 5 elements of nature: fire, earth, water, wood and metal. To explain how the body works; these elements correspond to particular organs and tissues in the body. The Chinese have an understanding that disease and pain is just blocked Qi. Qi is your life force and Chi is what keeps you alive, when Qi stops flowing we no longer live. So to be healthy and vital, and to prevent or heal from diseases the Chinese had a concept that Qi should flow through all these elements and meridians evenly in a specific pattern. There are 14 pathways called meridians in the body. These pathways are like channels that Qi runs through. Any stagnation or concentration of Qi can leave the body out of balance. Both physically and physiologically. The 14 meridians of the body are: Central, Governing, Stomach, Spleen, Heart, Small Intestine, Bladder, Kidneys, Pericardium, Triple Warmer, Gallbladder, Liver, Lung, Large Intestine. Each meridian not only makes up its own individual organ system but also rules certain emotions, physical ailments, etc. Along the meridians there are points called pressure points. These points are concentrations of QI (or energy) along the meridians. Each point also represents something specific along the meridian and can be used for various treatments and to disperse energy. Unfortunately we have stressors in our lives whether they are foods that don’t agree with us, traumatic events, thoughts, fears and anxiety etc. but when these things happen to us or around us, that Qi that’s flowing from one element to another actually gets blocked and whenever that blockage happens there is a traffic jam and you start feeling symptoms, and they can be anything from back pains to knee pains, bloating and indigestion, stress and anxiety, brain fog, tiredness and fatigue but all these symptoms are a by-product of blocked Qi. Kinesiology rebalances and unblocks Qi.
How can kinesiology take care of aches and pains?
Often, the root cause is not where the pain or discomfort currently lies; Therefore, by looking at the whole person rather than just the symptoms, sessions may involve any combination of manipulative work, guidance in self-treatment, nutritional support, homeopathic remedies and treatment to aid stress-related problems.
How can kinesiology take care of my overall health?
Kinesiology is a holistic approach to health and wellbeing and explores areas of imbalances related to biochemical, emotional, electrical and structural areas within our body. It works towards finding the root cause of imbalances and ways to rebalance, stimulating self-healing and supporting the system to achieve optimum health and wellbeing. Encouraging lifestyle changes through understanding of the body’s needs, observing beneficial changes and seeing everyone as an individual.
Can you list a few ailments that kinesiology can help with?

Bach Remedies
Digestive Issues
How can kinesiology take care of fatigue?
One normally feels fatigue and tired when there is an imbalance in the body due to some blockages in the energy pathways or lymphatic system. This would cause “The triangle of health” to be out of balance. Kinesiology helps identify these distorted patterns and blockages, clear signalling pathways and circuits, supporting the flow of information to restore balance and harmony. It helps optimise communication, understanding, action and interaction between all areas of and within the triangle.
How can kinesiology take care of food intolerances and allergies?
In kinesiology we do food intolerances and allergy testing. It is non-invasive muscle response testing and helps the client understand how intolerance affects the body. The aim of food sensitivity testing is to find out if there is any food a person is eating which is causing an imbalance to their body. Imagine a strong muscle is ON and if there is a food a client is intolerant to is kept on their neck or under their naval. This causes the muscle to go weak which means the muscle switches OFF. This indicates that the food is causing an imbalance to the client. We then use techniques to normalise the body when something has triggered an imbalance and stress. By normalising the body system, the body becomes more tolerant to the food or substance.
Does kinesiology replace traditional medicine?
Kinesiology does not replace traditional medicine. Kinesiologists are not doctors, nor do we claim to treat or diagnose any diseases. We are holistic practitioners who are towards finding the root cause of imbalances and ways to rebalance, stimulating self-healing and supporting the system to achieve optimum health and well-being.
What is the price point of a session?
Each session is approximately an hour long and currently the charges are Rs. 3000 per hour.
